I'm finally done the calculation of upper ocean heatflux. What was that? 2 weeks? Well, it was a bitch of a problem. I hate parallel programming sometimes. Especially when I don't really understand the code. And I don't know how to use a debugger properly. It's amazing I get things done at all.
Went to see Low and Pedro the Lion last weekend with Matt and Alicia and April. It was a good show.
I transferred my linux computer into a new box, donated by Moneca, so that there is lots of room for hard drives and such now. Thus I have an old MicroATX computer case that someone could have for free if they wanted it. Otherwise it goes on Craigslist soon. I also have about 512 MB of SDRAM, 4 network cards, and a CD-ROM drive. Arg.
The best part about being me nowadays is relaxing. I'm much less concerned about life. I'm content. I am, I would even go so far as to say, comfortable. Little Adrian once said "Comfort is Death" but he jumped off a bridge so I'm not sure his argument holds up to scruitiny. Apparently discomfort is death as well.
I'm going to Victoria this weekend. This should be interesting. I always hate trips like this because there is a limited time and a large number of people I want to see, so I always end up neglecting some of them.
Finally, GMail appears to have upped their storage limits. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA U! Sux! Yahoo!
