Can't believe it has been almost a year since I've posted here... Life is so different now.
I moved in with the BF. He already had a townhouse, something he bought about 5 months before we started dating. It was a new development in the surrounding Moncton area. And it is a really nice neighbourhood, and lots of nice people out here, and nice & quiet... So I really like it... just, is it bad that I miss the crazy of the downtown? Not that Moncton is like living in downtown Toronto or anything; it was just the right amount of crazy. You never knew when some guy would ask you for directions to the clinic or try to pick you up because they think you're a hooker (true story.)
So I moved in officially at the end of March. Not that I had much choice in the move. The owners of the building were turning it into condos and they had to kick everyone out to do renovations and ultimately sell it off piece by piece. The online posting says that they should be ready to sell by May and as far as I can tell from the outside, it doesn't look any different. I know who is in charge of the renovations and the sale and that doesn't really surprise me. But I am happy with the idea of them renovating the building, it was in desperate need and that street could use the extra development.
I might be moved in but not really. It feels more like camping out. Most of my stuff is still in boxes. The only stuff that really got unpacked are my clothes and all the kitchen stuff. He really didn't have much kitchen stuff and thanks to my parents, I had an abundance of kitchen stuff even though I didn't really have a kitchen in the apartment. So all that worked out. I'm just really looking forward to getting my books out the storage space under the stairs and back onto the bookcases.
Got to run. The BF is home from work and I don't want to explain all this. He might want to read it. Can't have that.
Discovered a new love for a show called Cupcake Girls on the W Network. I know, it makes me feel old but they are much more business oriented than the other baking shows like Cake Boss or DC Cupcakes. Feels slightly educational and a little less like a guilty pleasure.
So behind on Doctor Who, but only two episodes so far... so not all is lost... but someone is going to be taking my Geek Cred Card considering one of them is the Neil Gaiman written episode. I suck as a fan girl.
The Rapture (sorry I just had to italicize that, couldn't resist) didn't happen on Saturday. So disappointing. But it did produce a lot of funny jokes and this lovely YouTube clip:

Really running this time...
