Tiny Meeting, Big Impact

I have my meeting with an international student advisor today. I am trying to get everything confirmed - how long I have to be here to apply for dual citizenship/nationality, how I go about doing that and the restrictions it places on me about how long I can return to Canada for in that time, etc etc. I'm also going to talk to her about applying for work permits and then extending my student visa to take my masters, if I do end up doing that in January. That decision will also depend on what I learn today, as if I'm a member of the EU, I can pay less tuition for it, so I may hold off for a bit.

I am trying not to place much emphasis on this (because then I'll only end up more nervous!) but it's a tiny little meeting that will ultimately decide how I will spend the next 3-4 years of my life, and from there, the rest of it. It'll hopefully help me straighten out my plans and solidify them a bit so I can a) begin my masters education or b) start applying for work permits and thinking about jobs and where I'll live in the time being.

I'm shaking in my socks!
