I feel so stupid!
Normally around this time I would be in a class, but not today. It was cancelled. Yay, right? Yeah, that's what you'd think. Only I didn't know it was cancelled. I just found out about when we all started to wonder when our professor was going to come in. Apparently it was posted on the class website, but I never check it because I forgot it's there since she only put this website up like a week or two ago and the semester's almost over. So I could've had a couple of hours free before my next class because I got done with my 7:30 class by 8 so I could've been back in bed for like an hour and a half before I had to leave for my 10:30 class. Ugh!
And to top it all off I'm freezing because it's raining outside. That's not why I'm freezing though. I'm pretty much soaked. I was wearing my winter coat, which asorbed most of the water but in consequence it's wet now. My pants are another story. They're soaked almost up to my knees and I can't change yet because I need to leave for my last class of the day. And you might be asking yourself "why didn't she use an umbrella?" Good question. I threw it away, lol. I laugh about it now, but it pissed me off so much this morning that I pitched it in the nearest garbage. It had been kind of broken before, but when I left at 7 this morning it was so windy and it kept blowing inside out, which just screwed up the metal parts even more than they were before so I just threw it away. It was a mini umbrella and I think we got it from Wal-Mart, which explains everything, lol.
*lets out a deep breath* Sorry for rambling like that. I just needed to get that out. I would've vented to my roommate, and I probably will still...and probably to my mom too, lol, but she's in class right now.
Well, I guess I'm going to go put my wet socks and shoes back on so I tread back through the crappy weather. I have a feeling I'll be 10 times happier after this last class.
