My family just left
They came up to see me since I got a long weekend as a fall break. They got in on Saturday and just left like a half hour ago. It was so good to see them again! I hadn't seen them since two months ago when they dropped me off. I'm glad they came up. We had fun hanging out and eating out. My mom and I watched The Little Mermaid on my sister's portable DVD player. Then we all watched the Steeler game last night.
I have the music on now because it's kind of quiet without my roommate here. Not that she's loud, she's not, just need some background music I guess. It was a fun weekend and I can't wait to see them again. Though I won't have to wait as long. I just need to get through a month and I'll be home for like 5 days for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to that so I can see my whole family and pets. I miss them.
In other news, school's going good I guess. In two weeks I'll have midterms like everyday of the week. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I know my brain will be so fried by the time I get to Friday. Oh well. Once I get through that week things should settle down again before they pick back up in December for Finals. What fun. *rolls eyes*
Halloween is upon us. That should be neat. My family and I bought some of the kids that we might get over the weekend. We got candy that my roommate and I like though so that way if we don't get any kids we'll like the candy that we'll have to eat, lol. I still haven't decided if I'm going to dress up or not.
