My father sent me a postcard from Switzerland. Already he's complaining that the people there aren't Dutch, but that was mostly to be expected.

I wanted to thank you for dinner. I had a wonderful time with you, and I was wondering if you'd like to do it again sometime?

Ah, I have family in Switzerland and all they do is complain that the people aren't Austrian! It's a beautiful place, especially in the summer.

I had a wonderful time too. And I would love to do it again. Absolutely.

I've never been there. I'd like to some day. When things are all less confusing with the family.

Wonderful. I don't actually know what to say now... You might have noticed I don't do all this social interaction very well.

You do just fine in my opinion! You don't have to say anything. Or you can tell me about your day. Or you can ask about mine (which was boring and consisted of exams, so beware!) I like you being you, whatever you choose to say or not to say.

My day was long. I had an psychology exam at ten, which I hope I passed, and then I went out to the hospital to visit my sister.
