~ I think I'm learning Japanese ~ X3
Okay so just a quick post before I crash. I have to wake up ungodly early to get to class on time. But it makes up for it since I was able to snag a free spot in the language classes they offer and am officially learning to speak, read, write, and understand the Japanese language. KEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! XD I am loving it so much. And my sensei is such a doll. She's from Japan and her English is kind of shaky, but she's really sweet and 100% adorable. Squee <3
One thing that's harder than I thought it would be is trying to find a middle sound between R and L. I'd already known that the Japanese people don't say the Rrrr sound but damn is that a hard one to break. Depending on what word it is I more or less sound like I have autism. >_<'
Something else that's really cute about Sensei is that she has a hard time pronouncing our names so she had us all research a Japanese name that we would like her to call us by instead. After much, much, much, considderation I chose at the last second to be called 'Midori'. Kawaii ne? ^_~
Okay so that's all for now. I'm gonna go pass out for the scant five hours or so of sleep I'll get. At least all the walking is helping me to build up some calf muscles.
