AHHHHH!
John's at work, but I woke up from his getting-readiness before he left, so now here I sit. It's 6:55 in the a.m., I have no work today, and no school until 6 p.m. I was all ready to sit and play a good long day of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (we're still in the Beta stage, so it's just "practice," but it's still FUN!) and what happens? The server is down for updates. OOOOF course. Poo. XP
On the plus side, my new video card should be coming today, and I'm going to the LAN at James' tomorrow night where he's gonna install that and another gig of RAM on my more poor slow PC. In return I hafta, y'know, GO to the LAN and play Sins of a Solar Empire, but at least if I get bored I can always just fall back on playin' some WO:AoR. ^,^
That being said... School is going OK, work is going OK. Looking into a couple of places to volunteer on my Thursdays off. I might go to the old folks' home in Arden Hills and bring Earl (my corgi) to be a "Pet Visitor." That would be nice, and I like old people, so peachy. I'm also looking into volunteering at the library to be a Storytime Reader, which would be cool - especially since I think I like Childrens' books more than the children do! ^,~
Well, the WO:AoR server said it was down until 8:00 a.m. EDT, and it's 7:00 a.m. CST now, so I guess I'll go try logging in again. Wish me luck! ^,^
P.S. Got my hair cut and colored - will post pics on MySpace/Facebook sometime soon, but probably not for a week or two until after I get my new camera...
[Edit 7:05 a.m. - Oh noes! The newsfeed says it will be down until 9:30 EDT (8:30 our time)! Guess I'll just have to read Little Men some more for an hour and a half... Could be worse! ^,^]
