Momo
At this coffee shop, this guy was like, "Hey, will you sit with me?" and I was like, "No, that's okay," but then he said, "I just want to practice my English," and looked really earnest, so I sat with him. It turns out his name is Momo and he's 22, and just moved here from Mali. He speaks only French and very bad English and he told me, "You are so cute," "I want to have a relationship someday," (not with me, just with anyone), "Will you be my friend?", "We could get together - not EVERY week, just every two or three weeks!"
Anyway, he seemed really genuine, so we exchanged phone numbers, but now he is really taking this friend business seriously. Yesterday he went to dinner with Nell, Corrina, Dave, Scott, Josh, and I, and paid for Nell, Corrina, and Dave's dinners. He wanted to pay for everyone's - especially Scott and Josh's because they weren't eating anything - I kept trying to tell him that it was because they'd already had dinner, but he just thought they were poor and starving. I paid really fast before he got to me. Then he said he wanted to see me today, but I said I couldn't. Then he called me at one am last night just to talk.
What I want to know is, what happened to every 2 or 3 weeks??
