All The World Is Waiting For The Sun...
This entry will be mostly bullet points...I realize i need to update somehow because i haven't done so in a long ass time. I will add details to these events later..unfortunately that won't be until much much later because I have class at 2. Here we go...
July 29th- Richard's and my 4 month anniversary. Included such things as going to Phillips for dinner in Annapolis (which he didn't tell me), getting a dozen roses as the night progressed...only 6 at the beginning...4 when i got in the car (for 4 months) , one at dinner, and one when we came home. More details on this night later.
July 30th- Went to go see Hairspray at the Kennedy Center...absolutely aweseome! Then picked up by Richard and we went to Hagerstown to stay with Kimi and Matt.
July 31st- Woke up early to go to work
August 9-10th- My In-cars which went pretty well as the days went by.
August 13th- Richard's concert at Mad City Coffee House. It was amazing and they sold 3 CD's by the end of the night. Truly an awesome concert.
August 16th- Took Driver's ed test and failed....parallel parking is a bitch and an Asian instructor who is very hard to understand sucks even more. Took my pain away by going to get ice cream with Richard and Heather.
August 19th (day before learner's expired)- Took Driver's test and.....I GOT MY LICENSE!!! WOOT!!!! now all i need is my car. Went to Baltimore for Otakon and had a blast
August 20th- Another fun day at Otakon
August 21st- Last day of Otakon and went to Hans' concert to see his band Johnny Orange at Fletcher's and holy crap they are aweseome!
August 27-28th- Spent the night at Matt's appartment with Kimi and Richard. Was still feeling not so healthy in the morning so called in sick to work so I could get some rest rather then have to leave insnanely early. 27th we saw Skeleton Key (surprisingly really really good). 28th went outlet shopping, came back and watched Spaceballs at Jen's with Alyssa with pasta and Fried Calamari and then went to Denny's with Jen and Denise for some yummy pie.
August 29th- School starts...only one class-Sociology...awesome class so far and the teacher is amazing cause he isn't given us tests or quizzes cause he doesn't believe in them and he said if he had his way grades would never exsist because he thinks they are stupid....oh why can't there be more people like him? Got my book for the class and ID renewed and hung out with Alyssa afterwards. Watched the O.C. and just chilled until Jen got there we let Jen take like a 10 minute nap...she was too cute to wake up! Went to Wal-Mart to get Alyssa stuff for college and I went in search of the anniversary gift for Richard since Best Buy closed already....no luck. Dave and Richard met up with us at Wal-Mart...Dave from work and Richard from class. Happy 5 month anniversary Richard! We went to the Silver Diner for dinner...sadly it was really our only choice with how late it was. I was going to take him to Plato's cause it was where we had our first date and I knew it would be opened but sadly no it closed cause they are doing some weird construction on it.. grrrrrr *shakes fist*. Ended the night going home and sleeping.
August 30th- Second day of classes. Had my voice class with Lisa Carrier (for those who are like what? She was the director of Oliver last year and my intro to theater teacher)...and I am very excited about it. I love the class. Then had two hours to kill til Psychology which was an awesome class too. Talked with three people who all seemed very nice and cool. One of my co workers, John, is also in the class...somewhat weird but somewhat cool. Had My Tap Class after that at 4. Nothing exciting the first day except the syllibus and talking. Dancing will happen thursday and so we got out extra early. Headed for the auditions for SHOWTUNE, a musical review (the fall musical). I figure they wanna hear my voice so as long as I choose a song to show that off and has a lot of dynamics in it I will be set... I chose I Dreamed A Dream from Les Mis...It has a lot of range and I am comfortable singing it. I chose the song at the last minute...changed it completely from my original choice which was a song from Carousel. Went in there not expecting much...but in the end I was happy with my performance. Even with the fact I was still getting over a cold I did fine. I waited with a bunch of theater friends and some new ones for the call back list.... I GOT CALLED BACK!!!!WOOT!!! Call backs are on Thursday...not sure what to expect but im hoping something good at least. Went out to Dinner at Outback with Lauren, Jose, and Za afterwards. It was mucho fun considering it was my first time and oh my god so full and oh my god food so good! I didn't spend a lot cause i knew it was exspensive so I got a burger and shared the bloomin onion with everyone and that was it. Went home and crashed. Now ready for another day of classes and so far so good...life is good right now...woot
