Well.
We had a good match against the Falcons.
I feel bad saying it because Roger had such a shit match against Puddlemere. That whole team played like shit. I hope that Melisande Grubbly-Plank recovers from her injury soon, but if they didn't announce what her injury was I think they're one press conference away from saying she's out for the season.
The Magpies will get better at playing without her. They can't get worse.
Gods I hope they beat the Cannons.
I went out with Roger to help him blow off steam both last night and tonight, but I couldn't keep up with him, he just kept swallowing drinks. He's going to be hung over for days.
I thought our match was violent - it was, Julian was playing the Falcons and Lisa's one of our Chasers now, so the Falcons can say whatever they like about her and her, uh, older fiance.
I still can't believe she's marrying him. It's just too much. Switch is taking it alright, but all of the mates in our house at least think it's a bad idea.
Well... everybody who came to our match. I'm glad you came. It was better than the other one that happened that day.
Calypso Blenkinsop just caught the snitch against the Kestrels. Ludo Bagman went out and reminded everybody that he's the best Beater in who knows how long, and from what I heard it was a clean match. It favoured the Wasps, but everybody knows we have to catch Puddlemere in points now. And Meg McCormack is Catriona's daughter. I just caught the end of that match though, because I spent most of today watching the Wanderers beat Tutshill.
Good on Drem for catching the snitch twice in a row. Go Wanderers.
We're going to have some long training sessions for the next couple of weeks because we don't have a match until the 22nd. It'll be good for us but it's going to be hard to watch other teams score points. We'll get ours eventually, but gods. Puddlemere.
I am Roger Whitby's friend no matter what kind of Quidditch he plays, but he'll play better Quidditch against the Cannons. I promise.
