Hey, I found a muse drabble meme via ff.net! I decided to have a little playercest fun with these.
Also, I pulled out 5, 12, & 19 to the beginning, since they're one story arc.
Step 1: Write down and number the names of 9 characters.
Step 2: Write a fic of at least 25 words ((I went for 50 even.)) for every prompt.

He kept fighting and fighting and fighting him!

He didn't let him finish. He turned the Rod and collapsed it, unsheathed blade singing down louder than his own scream.

He didn't know what to do with the boy crouched before his room's door. Eye or no glowing eye, he was...
But he was shaking, staring at his hands like he was shocked what they'd done.
He put a hand gingerly on the shoulder without blood, asked what had happened.
5: Threesome - 1/5/8 (Lego/Alarm/Piston)
“I'm, sure whoever it was, would understand you didn't mean it.”
“That's not the problem,” he grumbled, dragging the small royal man in sight of the body.
He missed the look on his face under the heat of his complaint.
“Now I'll never get in his head!”
1: Amnesia - 1 & 9 (Lego & Upwords)
“I don't get it,” he mumbled as he pried his double's fingers off his eyes, and spied the screen.
“You. Shouldn't.”
“Oh... is it another adult thing grandpa will explain one day?”
The elder's mouth curled, face red as a silent warning. He wished he couldn't say.
2: Death Fic - 7 (Aloe Vera)
“Your lies sealed your fate. A judgment is reached...”
And the blood flowed, scythe fading with the life released. Eyes stared without seeing, without ever connecting.
Everything was stained, everything but the gold, the feather, the blank boy who picked up both and walked out the curator's door unscathed.
3: AU - 1 & 8 (Lego & Piston)
“A kraken?” the minute pirate echoed, letting out a disbelieving laugh as his former first mate and fellow lord stared into the table's woodwork over the brim of his ale cup.
“I don't care what you say it was! I wasn't pulled under the sea by anything, clearly!”
4: Genderswap - 3 & 7 (Rising Dead & Aloe Vera)
“You're lucky. I didn't even notice a difference in that robe.”
“Ah-ha, I suppose so... I'm sorry this place is giving you trouble, my king.”
“I'm not your king.”
“Oh, I'm so sorry. There is a distinction in- My queen.”
“That's not what I mean.”

Little Yuugi swung his head about one way and that. W-where's it going to come from. Where-
And the kid takes off again, a giant silver boulder chasing him down a hall, through the lobby, t-thank GOD out the lobby doors-
“No, the last one! Pinball isn't my game...”
7: Horror - 3 (Rising Dead)
He did it.
He never even saw him, but his will reached so far he broke that lethal mind through his puppet.
His partner was safe.
...except someone might come back, take this judgment out on his innocent half. And all this death...
Better he stay asleep. Better both sleep.

“-I'm not sure I should've told you that.”
“No, Yuugi. It's better to know what other's here expect me to.”
Pythia didn't have the heart to tell him, how once she saw the dark side he described, walking the sands.
How once she denied that as a dream.

She looked different, but it was familiar, seeing a little face crumble into wet sniffles with a few well-chosen words.
But when he moved to expand the game the little body crumbled too, leaving him stumbling back, then scurrying to pick her up.
He didn't tell her to do that!

“Just take your time. There's no rush.”
“Right, right.” He laughs over the strain, sits back down beside her. He's twice her age and she's the one minding the pace.
But still, somewhere under all that she's got to be hasty, too. Or else they wouldn't be there.

“And then if she finished the puzzle, she'd see the confession?”
“That's right!”
“So cool...”
“I know! Why can't it always be like that?”
“The confession or game?”
“Both!”
“Hidden in a box of figurines...”
“Spelled out on a custom Mario world...”

“What are we supposed to do now?” Yuugi asked, floating in the dark. If not alone.
“Don't worry, I'll search for an exit.”
“You'll be okay, wandering through this?”
“Of course, partner,” he smiled, confident. “We already vanquished Zorc. What could it do to me?”

“I'm pleased to meet you,” she answered, eyes scrutinizing the girl presented to her.
But on greeting contact her sight went beyond, to sands sparked to glass.
She let go of the hand, serene over the search for answers, but she found nothing but confusion under the returned smile.
15: Dark - 3 & 5 (Rising Dead & Alarm)
Delving through the mind he won, the victor let out a laugh.
Just when he started doubting his methods, he stumbled across the greatest justification!
How could anything he ever thought be questionable next to what he found in those depths?
Indeed, it's hard to notice shadows in the dark.
16: Crack - 2 (Pac-Man)
He couldn't help it, he couldn't!
Those piles of fruit left out on the floor were just too scrumptious not to grap, even if he couldn't eat!
And those dots all along the carpet were begging to be picked up!
So why were those whirling blue shrouds chasing him everywhere?!

“Don't worry, things will work out once you talk.”
The boy in her room gives a downcast nod, ducking his head further with a shy glance at the hand patting his head.
Did she just know her younger not-sister that well, or was she always this sure of herself?

“And then she, leaned in.”
He coughed, wishing his floating self would stop staring at him like some demigod.
“So no, I wasn't doing anything special. I didn't even make the first move. I mean, I did make a move- Eventually. But uh--- That would be my lunch!”

“And then the queen returns to the oracle to praise her for her advice in vanquishing the overlord!”
Seiran blushed at the character and story sketches he provided of the game, but Pythia merely stared at the proud writer.
“Do you always base characters on people you know?”
