I nominate Rachel Weiss for Best Supporting Actress in "The Constant Gardener". Since I am impotent to do so, I predict her nomination.

Because, holy shit she made that film. She reduced our "Red Dragon" to a crying, passive, and constant gardener. Her character is feisty, confrontational, and owns the sensitivity that sends an englishwoman to Africa in the first place... Everything women want to be and everything corrupt pharaceutical companies fear.

The film gives us covetous views of African paradise, and punishes us with violence so brutal, only man could think of it. It reminds us why we don't deserve that "paradise".

As an ending note, "The horror" was likely exclaimed from both sides simultaneously. This film extends that sentiment.
