(no subject)
I hope everyones weekend is going well.
My laptop crashed on Tuesday night, yuck. Then on wednesday, my roommate just showed up again. He woke me up yelling at me and he accused me of sleeping in his bed when he was gone. That is not the case at all. That is gross. Eww. Then he starting taking my stuff and throwing it at my doorway on the floor. I hate confrontation, so I was just stunned.
I cleaned my room, threw out unecessary items, until the floor was almost bare, and draped sheets over the furniture. THen I spoke to the Landlord and left. I came back to my mothers house. You could not have kept me there with an attack dog. I hope never to see him again.
**** Tuesday my parents are helping me move out, and I decided to find a job before I find another place and another roommate(s). So I plan to move back to the city offically 10/1. One thing I learned from this situation is that I have to be more careful when choosing roommates. Times a thousand! I already have a few prospective people lined up. One is a girl who wants to publish comics. Not Peanuts, but real comics like Marvel. I've spoken to her a few times, and she sounds fun, all around. Not a total comic "geek". (You know who you are!) So we'll see. Being at my moms house sucks. She is already trying to get me to waitress at the restaurant next door. I hate waitressing. So I need to find an alternative fast.
***If anyone knows a potential sublet/share situation in Williamsbuerg area or the Village, near a subway, opening up 10/1 with cool people, let me know. I am responsible, and allergic to cats. (Gasp!) I like cheese. :--)
