Humanity. Why do you always let me down? We have such amazing things. Hell the computer itself is amazing and it's totally taken for granted and only really given any attention when something goes wrong. We have skyscrapers and monuments, giant heads carved into mountains. Medicine to save lives and extend them. We can cure diseases and all sorts of things. The best and brightest among us have given us so much and it all goes to waste. How have we not attained some sort of enlightenment but instead remain as dumb beasts one step away from eating and throwing our own shit at each other. We're no less savage, we only have civilized tools to act out our brutality. We cling to fairy tales for some sense of morality and ethics without which we apparently would have none. An invisible wizard in the sky that rewards us with magical sky cake if we somehow manage to not rape and kill everything in our path. We are better than that, we don't need that shit, we can be something so much more. Why can't we just rise up collectively as a race and be better than this?
