I pretty much hate html, I wish there were any easier way to post photos on myspace, and the internet... bah. Oh well.
This past week has been pretty intense. I'd call it a 3-day long party to celebrate the freedom from Caffe Ladro.
Thursday, I started my internship at Stripes39. My first 'project' was to wipe down the wet-erase board and create a new calendar so we can keep track of our deadlines; also, I write down the deadlines. Yeah, not so interesting. I have 3 real projects though. I'm not sure if you actually call them projects, I'm new to this industry. Well, whatever they are... I have 3 of them. :]
1. Re-write the t-shirt descrptions for the merch (leeland, sanctus real, new heights...) on jesusbranded.com, which I'm already procrastinating on. Deadline: Tomorrow, Tues Nov 21st
2. Photograph the new line of JesusBranded t-shirts that are to come in this Wednesday. Since Aya won't be in as much as me, I'll be taking most (if not all) the photos. It works out though, because she likes to edit. Deadline: Friday, Dec 1st... at the latest, the 8th.
3. (This one's the raddest(sp?)) Stripes is coming out with a lower (yet, still high-end) end denim call, Good Society. On each (4) denim wash there will be artwork for the inside of the pant pocket, for uniqueness, I guess. Anyway, we (Aya, Jonah, Hayley, and I) all get draw/design something to put on the flap. My first 'real' design project, eek! I'm pretty intimidated by the project. Like the t-shirt descriptions... the project is due tomorrow! I'm sooo behind; lame.
I'm in over my head.
Thursday night, I watched Minus the Bear own the stage once again. They played a 2-hour set, hella rad.
Friday, day 2 of internship. Scott was using his computer so I couldn't waste my time myspacing. I really need to get my laptop... hopefully next week, if not this week. Then Aya and I went back to her house where I fell asleep and she got ready for the Appleseedcast/Copeland show. Appleseed cast was so good, Copeland on the other hand, was boring. I was just letdown, because I love their music... but live, not so much. Valerie didn't warn me! Grr. :] After that, I slept at Travis'
Saturday, I took Endless' promo photos. They looked rad... but I wasn't sure what look they wanted... so I just did it the way i would do any other shoot. I mean, they did ask me because they liked my style... so I used 'my style'. Then Aya and I went on a hunt to look for her portfolio, we ended up at Paperhaus, high-end office supplies, I swear. A lot of it was really rad though, but too rich for my blood. We ate blue-c, and had some starbucks, then she dropped me off at New Heights' acoustic show. I love my personal driver, she's cute! :] The show was sick as always.
Sunday, I stayed home and rested. I'm getting old. I edited hella photos.
Today, I didn't do too much. I edited MORE photos again... somewhere around 50 ish. Then Ggrabbed teriyaki, visited Ladro, then came home and watched Art School Confidential, all with my sister. Yup, she's home. It's pretty cool.
Ok, sooo... I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but if you have, thanks! Here are some photos...
