This is an old song by the band Police. for some reason tonight it made me think of God. That's what He say's to me, that He's not distant and far off, but He's right here, watching me, missing me, longing for my heart to belong only to Him. not that He really is lost or that God sleeps so He can't dream but everything besides those two lines were just screaming to me of the love and the nearness of God. it's a wonderful thought to think that the God of the universe, the Creator of the world, the Savior of my soul, really longs for me. that He loves me that much.
