team of YOUR MOM
oh my. it's been over a month since my last post. my excuse would be that i've been busy (which I have!) but that would mean i'd be bursting full of exciting things i couldn't wait to tell you all, yes?
well, i shall try to make up the gap. i'm subbing for the front desk person at the moment which means (in my head) that i'm free to goof off unless someone calls or comes in the building. so, let me think....
there was a trip up north to go on the Last Bike Ride of the Year around Madeleine Island, and Thanksgiving, wherein my girlfriend and my father went head-to-head in a Scrabble Match to the Death.
And then there were the LSATs, which occupied the bulk of my worrying synapses for the three weeks preceding December 6th, when I actually sat the test. I was at the testing site for nigh on 6 hours, the bulk of which was taken up with answering logical reasoning questions as quickly as i possibly could. although i joked with eileen beforehand that i would deal with the insurmountable stress of a do-or-die contest by standing up in the testing room and shoutin "ACCIO FIREBOLT!" at the top of my lungs, i did not, in fact, have a mental breakdown and managed to answer a majority of questions, which is really all I could have hoped for. I am awaiting the results and will likely send my applications off just as soon as I get them. or i may try to find a job elsewhere.... i am much conflicted on the actual start date of my law schooling, truth be told. but i'll keep you all posted.
Hokay. Back to work, but i'll try to be more faithful to you, o livejournal readers. I have many thoughts on the holidays, my imminent move, and obama's cabinet picks. stay tuned.
