(no subject)
dam loljournal, i've been feeling really good lately. physically. my stomach problems are all under control. completely excluding caffeine from my diet has really worked wonders. been working out, and the back seems to be holding up after some extreme initial soreness. i think i have that under control. the only complaint i have is this business with my jaw, it hurts like hell to open. it may be from grinding my teeth at night (which i may or may not do), or maybe i have an ear in fection or something. when i go under water i feel like it takes forever for the water to come out of my right ear, and the pain is specific to my right jaw hinge. so i dont know. maybe it's TMJ or something. maybe i can have my personal physician check it out this weekend. cant wait to see her, i'm counting down the seconds till friday.
last night went to the rangers game, watched them come back and take the yankees late with a GW homer from blalock. it was a good game. been getting some sun, hanging out by the pool, playing a little golf. not playing poker anymore has calmed my nerves considerably. i mean i'm fucking broke and i dont know what to do about it, but at least i dont want to pull my hair out 20 times a day.
this weekend was pretty fun, been spending more time with chef mike. i've known him since 2nd grade you know. we played golf and did lunch and then napped on rafts in the pool while the paradisio girls made dinner. it was a salad fest-- chicken salad, macaroni salad, and fruit salad. i'd never turn down a free meal but man i just wanted some hot meat in my throat something awful.
tonight is trivia night at plucker's. we go there and eat wings and try to win as Alex Trebek's Mustache. last week came in third and got 10 bucks off our food and beer. the Lesbian Truckdrivers always win. it's like three tables pulled together full of 20 or 30 asians. they fucking know everything. we were only 3 people last week, we've got more coming tonight, so maybe we can take second this time. i like wings. now there's some hot meat for a hungry man's throat.
