You coming over sat night? if so bring the two old mics you have for dat. want to see abou8t them and feedback. played some sax other night late at night, felt good. got into this thing where i was playintg whisper quiet but full on fast throttle noted, all false fingerting patterns witha clean tones. overtones and harmonics coming from lots of tonguing. thinking that is how to relater to drone or indian music on sax is with constant stream of light notes since especially at quiet volumen cant really play a raga or a drone piece. also staqyed away from any jazz breakup of rythm. i will show you what i mean. two sax es togeher could make a dense tapestry. could be neat, or could be te4dious to listen to.
almost done with go down moses by faulkner. amazing. really lifts my spirits when i read something so good and powerful. i rank it third of his behind bug two of sound ansd fury and absalom absalom which when are you going to reasd you pussy. inside of go down moses the lomgest section is entitialed the bear which is pretty famous and as good as anything written by anyone. i get so into his books, find my mind wandering to them when getting hi or bored watching tv or falling asleep. a nice legal remove from this gray world on shit we are living in. I choose shit because on way to library today stepped in huge pile of it which not only was on sidewalk which is fucked up by person, or maybe dog itself covered it in a pile of leaves. So went into library in old dirty clothes smelling of excrement and I had like 10 holds to pick up. Including new Irvine Welsh, and more exciting new Roberto Bolano which comes in this beautiful addition where it is three soft cover volumes inside this cardboard box set like thing. almost 900 pages long. so getting back to big falk as I call faulkner, in a way as I lay dying is my least favorite of what I have read so far. you fucking Yankee carpetbagger.
