Silly home loan brokers
I derive perverse pleasure in discovering that what a broker tells us in an application does not match reality, possibly more so because the app has been with another lender before it came to us.
"Oh, they work for his parent's business do they?"
*credit check*
"Well fancy that, he's listed as sole proprietor and director, he and his wife are the only shareholders and there's no sign of any parents here. You'll have to cough up a lot more in the way of income support now."
