It is a pleasure to work with responsible adults
Last week, one of my co-workers left on Tuesday afternoon for the holiday weekend. He and his wife and kid were going abroad somewhere for the holiday.
Tuesday night, as I was leaving, it was pouring down sleeting rain and freezing cold, and I did not have an umbrella, because I had left mine at home. So it was very nice to know I could just sneak next door to his office and borrow his and return it Wednesday, with no-one the wiser. It was a serious adult umbrella to boot - thick handle, nice and wide so you barely got rained on at all!
Ah, adults. Sometimes, you are very useful to me.
