See here's my problem:
Not only do I not know what I want to do as far as school goes, but I don't know where I want to go to school or where I want to live. Even if I knew where I wanted to go to school and where I wanted to live, the two locations probably wouldn't agree with eachother. Right now I know what my best options are, but they are not my favorite options. Here are my options as I've layed them out:
Option 1: Continue living at home, working, and go to school at Johnson County Community College starting January '06. <---Cheapest option
Option 2: Move out and live in an apartment here in the KC Metro, work, and go to JCCC starting January '06.
Option 3: Go to school at Holy Cross College in South Bend, IN starting January '06. and spend a couple of years there, getting back into the sport of rowing, and then transferring somewhere else in a couple years.
Option 4: Move to Chicago in the next couple of months, live in an apartment, go to school starting hopefully January '06 but maybe not til August '06. <---Most expensive and unstable option (don't know where I'd go to school...Depaul and Loyola don't appeal to me)
I have no money. I'd be going to school totally on financial aid (loans/grants).
I have made some really good friends here in Kansas and I'd be sad to leave them. Stupid me being able to make good friends easily. Although, if I moved to Chicago, Kansas would be "home" and I'm sure I'd be back here every so often.
I'll be 20 in March. I cannot be living at home still. I will feel defeated.
OOOH. Option 5: Continue living at home, working, go to JCCC starting Jan. '06 and then move to Chicago summer '06 and start school there Aug '06....
I just have way too many options and when I start thinking about it I start thinking I should be considering other places too, not just KC and Chicago.
Ugh.
