I don't feel so badly about it. I suppose I would if people (white people included) would prove the stereotypes wrong a little more often.

you know, its funny that you mention that. i've been car shopping all day and have just about come to the same conclusion about myself.

I'm more of a classist than a racist, myself. Which is kind of funny since I'm not exactly the richest person in the world...I just kind of think that it doesn't matter what race you are, if you're lower class, you're probably gonna act like an idiot. That's part of the reason why I enjoy studying sociology so much, I guess.

I totally agree. I know plenty of people of different races that are awesome... but I don't deal well with lower class. Which is why I'm picky about the income of the neighborhood I want to live in (and not the race of the neighborhood).

I always knew we were a couple of classy broads.

not much of a story...just a black dude (who came to my shop because he was run out of the previous one) was convinced we were overcharging him for a fuel pump so he called all over town for a used fuel pump. A guy from another shop walked in the door and laughed because he kn ew the car and situation without even hearing it. You don't put a used fuel pump in a car. Would you want a heart transplant from a 90 year old man? no!!! Then don't use a used fuel pump ( ... )
