New to Frederick
Hi all! I moved to the Frederick area from Arizona with my wife and baby in June and only recently found this group. I like the area, although it's taken me a while to slowly discover it. I'm a programmer and I work from home, so I don't really get out much anymore. We have found some good parks and a nice public swimming pool here.

- What's the social dancing scene like in Frederick, or do I have to go near DC for that stuff? I was pretty heavily into the Swing (Lindy Hop) & Salsa scene in Phoenix, and wonder if there was anything like that here.
- Are there any children's playgroups? My daughter's 9 mo old, but she loves other kids and it'll be good to talk to other parents.
- Any good ethnic food? So far, I've found some decent Chinese buffets and an Indian restuarant on Patrick Street. Are there any good Vietnamese (Pho!) places in town? Any good places for Dim Sum? And also, are there any good places to get asian/ethnic groceries? I'm dyin' out here!
- Any good martial arts places? I'm looking for something along the lines of traditional Gung Fu, traditional Karate, Aikido, or Jujitsu.
- Also, I hope this isn't too much of a taboo, but I relied on Craig's List a lot in Phoenix (both to find cheap stuff and to sell it). I'm trying to get rid of my old Laptop, but so far have only found would-be scammers. If anybody's interested, let me know.
