Wow I haven't updated in ages time seems to have gone quite quickly this month and deadlines are dawning AAARRRRGH!!!! I've only written 800wds of my 3000 word essay and only have a week and a half left but handed in other one.

Is this part of the course? If its not then you can make a really big deal about it.
Write off to organisations around Leicester too for fundraising.. They might not be able to help you with money, but they might give you tickets or something for a raffle.. I raised about £50 on a raffle at Sixth Form, when I was raising for France. I might still have the list somewhere..
How about writing to Alton Towers, Wicksteed Park, Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor, Walker Factory, Everards Brewery, Walker Stadium, The Tigers, DMU Union, Leicester Space Centre.....
Or you could write to local restaurants and hold a 'free meals for students' raffle..
Or to shops who might be able to help you with equipment, Millets etc...
Tips: Dont stick to Nursing, do it campus wide - Go to Leicester Uni too (prob not best to tell them you're DMU..!) - Ask everyone, your family, friends - Get your mom to sell tickets at Samba, your dad to go back to his old staff room, your brothers to sell to their friends..
