He was trying to kill his own daughter?
I'm not sure I even know how to reply to that. My first instinct is to say that the bastard deserved it then.
But if he was trying to kill her, then it's understandable either way, you know. Can't imagine it's easy to live with, but it would've been the right thing.

Listen, Fred. I'm not going to sit here and try to rationalize the first, but this one? Don't dwell on it.
Honestly, if he was hurting her (with or without the intention of killing her), then something needed to be done. Hell, you might even say you've cancelled them out that way.

Seems I don't have too many of either.

Something on your mind?

I don't know what's wrong with me.

...or I can stop being snarky and actually ask what prompted this thought that there is suddenly something wrong with you...?

I mean, gah.
You know about that thing with Angie's dad, right?

And I've heard some rumors, but that's about it. Is that related?

If you don't, I'm afraid my imagination might run away with me...

Should I assume there was a reason for this one? Your last reason wouldn't seem to hold up as well...

And I never in my life thought I'd be a ... a murderer.

One good deed for a bad one, you know?

It makes it feel better. Maybe not right, but better.
