Let me just say that I love how cookie_simone and ibroketuesday basically have the same default icon. Boom!Sylar FTW. And Tookie for the win. LOL. That kind of makes me want to watch my S1 DVDs, from when Heroes was good. I really want Heroes to rebound in S3...but I dunno. I'm still annoyed about Maya's existance, especially since
I read this morning that Dana Davis isn't going to be on this season. Come on, they're getting rid of one of the cool female characters with an awesome power and keeping the horrible one whose only purpose seems to be a crybaby and a love interest? I mean, I'm being a little OTT, and Monica wasn't used as well as she could have been at the tail end of S2, but I honestly don't understand why they would want to keep Maya over her. Not to mention the fact that Monica/Mohinder could actually have been kinda adorable, if they HAD to give Mohinder a girlfriend.
Does Kring realize how much people don't like Maya? And what is part of the reason why Mohinder/Maya annoys me is that Kring acknowledged the fact that he didn't do romances well last season, and he said that they weren't going to do that anymore. Didn't he? I would honestly rather have Claire/West or Peter/Caitlyn or Hiro/Yaeko over Mohinder/Maya anyday.
I mean, maybe, MAYBE I will be proven wrong. Last season I was really annoyed with all the Kristen Bell hype and I hated Elle in her first episode, but I had to eat my words because I ended up loving her (and Kristen Bell as well, since watching Veronica Mars helped me understand the hype). I just *really* do not see that happening. I've hated Maya since the very first episode she was on, and I doubt her hooking up with my favorite character will make me like her anymore. I said've this before, but Mohinder/Anyone would be better than Mo/Maya.
And I'm not exactly the most optimistic about Mo's Jackal and Hyde storyline either, but I'm just hoping that if he goes bad (temporarily or whatnot), he hops on over to Japan and frees Adam from that coffin. I want some Madam, dammit! LOL. Or Elle should free Adam, because they would make an awesomely snarky duo, and I could buy her as Adam's new wife. In any case, I'm going to *try* to keep an open mind despite my preexisting tendencies of hate, but I doubt it wil work.
Oh, and have y'all seen the character promo pictures for Heroes? They are so full of fail, it's hilarious. Last year's were good, because even though Mo had *sniff* short hair, it was at least still curly. IDK what is going on with his hair this year. and Zach's wasn't looking too good either. Or Adrian's. Or Milo's. Or basically anyone's. Except for maybe Mama Petrelli.
ETA: OH! And I forgot the other thing I was pissed about.
Ana Lucia? Really? Of all the characters you could bring back, you chose her? IDC if it's only for one episode, I would rather see any of the other dead characters back again before her. Even Paulo and Nikki. And anyway, what about LIBBY? She's way more important than AnaL, and actually has unfinished business. Mostly I just wish that Shannon would come back. :( I loved her sfm, and was so pissed when she died. In fact, her death was was made me quit Lost spoilers, and I haven't slipped since then.
