Beautiful May
Holy crap we are having some nice weather here in MD these last few days! Maggie and I planted a little flower bed, and I am super pysched. Rob (my brother) gave me a begonia for mother's day and it perked right up from the pot when I put it in the ground. Pics to come.
On the whole, it's a different Momo in this skin from the one this winter. Socializing up the wazoo, strengthening the bonds created from the loss. One friend pressed the reset button and is starting over in New Orleans. Another's making a positive step and moving into a group house to be close to his son. This gal's got a newfound sense of confidence... I had truths revealed about myself that I can rely on when I'm feeling low. Good things about the person I am - despite my flaws. For a champion self-boxer it's like learning an unbeatable move.
Bunch of parties coming up... but I'm keeping Memorial Day open since it will officially be Pool Time. My birthday is coming right up, too, and I feel like doing something ridiculous. Any ideas welcome.
