Frealaf: *heads to the stables, carrying a small bag* Firi?
Firiel: *stands up, anxious* How are things inside?
Frealaf: *frowns* Still not good. Nothing's been resolved. I brought some of your things - you'll stay in one of the cottages on one of the lower levels tonight.
Firiel: *nods slightly* And you? The others?
Frealaf: I don't know about the others. I'll stay close in case they need an extra sword.
Firiel: *nods again, frowning* All right. *takes the bag from him* Thank you.
Frealaf: *nods* I suppose it's a good thing we hadn't left yet. I think they'll need all the help they can get.
Firiel: Of course... tell my brothers and Arvedui to stay close as well. They may be able to help. And send Theo and Rogue down? I'll take them with me.
Frealaf: I will. You didn't tell me the other one had come back.
Firiel: He only came back a few days ago.
Frealaf: I see. Younger?
Firiel: *shakes her head* He's the middle child.
Frealaf: Awfully skittish.
Firiel: What do you mean?
Frealaf: Not as much bravado as I'm used to.
Firiel: Neither of them are quite what you're used to.
Frealaf: Artamir's not so bad. He beat up Gorlim, after all.
Firiel: *sighs* Faramir is the one who went to war with Father, though he was ordered to stay home.
Frealaf: Well, one redeeming quality, anyway.
Firiel: *blinks* ...... *ignores the comment and sighs* Do you think they will catch the wraith?
Frealaf: That's not going to be the problem. Getting rid of her will be.
Firiel: Her... Adunaphel... *sighs* I hope Arvedui can help with that.
Frealaf: I guess. He's dealt with her before, or so I hear. We'll need everyone we can get, leaderless and all...*stops short*
Firiel: *eyes widen* Leaderless?
Frealaf: Well you know. *looks uncomfortable* Gorlim's of no use and Halbarad's gone now too.
Firiel: ...what happened to Eomer? What are you not telling me?
Frealaf: *sighs* I'm still not certain but... *gently* I think she killed him.
Firiel: *softly* She... what? *clutches the bag* Eru... they need to find and dispose of her quickly... Perhaps Luthien can do it.
Frealaf: She'll be dealt with. There's more of us than there are of her, but the last thing I want is you getting caught in the crossfire. You 're just like Hanild - a magnet for trouble.
Firiel: *slight nod* I... if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.
Frealaf: Just stay put and out of the way.
Firiel: *sighs* All right. Be careful, Frey. And tell the others the same.
Frealaf: *smiles* Me? Careful? That would go against everything I stand for. *kisses the top of her head* Do you need anything else before I go?
Firiel: *shakes her head and hugs him gently, softly* Be careful. And... take care of them for me?
Frealaf: Your brothers? Yes.
Firiel: *still soft* All of them... my brothers... Arvedui...
Frealaf: I'm fairly sure Arvedui can take care of himself.
Firiel: *nods slightly* Of course. *sighs* You should go.
Frealaf: *nods, kisses her* Be safe.
Firiel: *kisses back* You, too. Come see me, when you have a minute.
Frealaf: I'll check on you when I can. *strokes her hair, then goes*
