Just Holiday Blues. Sorry I forgot how to hide it if you don't want to read.
Dear Higher Powers,
I love Christmas, I really do. I enjoy the decorations, the gathering of family and friends. People forgetting their troubles to think of others for no thought or gain. The whiteness of the snow before it gets dirty. I love the magic.
But it is a hard time for most. A depressing time for those who are with out warmth or comfort or someone to care about them.
Most around me want it to be over and I understand. I just wish I knew how to bring some sort of comfort to the ones I love who have disconnected from everything it seems.
It feels most of the time like I'm doing something wrong or my company is not wanted.
So as much as I try to surpass beyond my own holiday blues, I do love this time of year, but this year, for the love of others I wish it was over.
