Speaking of comic prices, not sure if you followed the rise and fall of the prices for the Associated Student Bodies furry comic. When I first got into furry I remember hearing about that comic so I looked into getting some issues. I remember the price range in some cases went from twenty bucks to over a hundred. Then a few years later they reprinted the whole run in a trade paperback and from what I could tell the resell prices on the old individual issues plummeted.
That’s the thing with the comic market, very much at the whim of supply and demand. Comics these days are printed in such large amounts it’s unlikely they’ll ever be worth much more than what you paid for them. Worse, younger people are showing less interest in collecting comics, in part because they can more cheaply get digital copies, so a lot of collections will find it harder to find buyers going forward. If you can sell your issues for a decent price, I wouldn’t expect to find a better price by waiting, you may find the buyers no longer around in the future.
