would they ban me from bringing my laser too? its technically illegal in America

i am an ex disgruntled Postal worker

im sure there are people who go to the cons whom have actually done ban able things in the past

open carry and concealed is legal in my area

in america the legal limit for a handheld Green laser is 5 mw , my laser is 147 mw average with 163 mw peak . you could possibly see mine from 20 miles away

the red ones at wally mart for pets are not even any where close to the same power level

What's happened in recent years, is that dumbasses have gotten their paws on the more potent lasers, gone to the end of a runway, and shone it into the cockpit of a landing aircraft and blinding the crew, which is a MAJOR federal offense in the US. There was a rash of these in Seattle a few years ago.

Lasers actually make me more nervous, not with you but I've seen people playing around with the things way too haphazardly. And something considered a toy but powerful to blind someone from a distance is dangerous in the wrong hands. At a fur convention, I could see some serious problems with something like that.

A gun has no misunderstanding, it's a weapon pure and simple.
