Twilight
Last night I headed over to Hawthorne to spend the weekend at my Aunt & Uncle's house, my cousin James is here from London for the weekend (he attended a wedding last night). Today we're going to a Mets game in a little bit, maybe head to the pool later today or early tomorrow and then tomorrow afternoon is a birthday party for my Uncle's sister. I was mainly talked into attending to hang out with my cousin, who I haven't seen much in last several years, but of course feeling a bit of the odd man out :P
Anyways, long story short - my Uncle rented Twilight last night. He only knew it was a popular film which contained vampires. Against my better judgment, though knowing the sequel will have more focus on werewolves so who knows, I watched it with them.
What a... complete piece of shit this movie is. It is beyond the tween fangirl experience. The acting is fairly horrible, the dialogue is abysmal, and what... what have they done to vampires?!? Sparkle time? What the fuck, are we going to do a dance a la Donnie Darko now? And the guy is so emo! Ugh!!! I just kept laughing like every few minutes - so if you want a horrible comedy, check it out - be my guest!
I have not had a chance to make a post on my Florida trip, that'll come later this weekend when I have a chance. Not too many chances right now though on their computer. Ta.
