Long Weekend...
It's been a long weekend, and a long month. Leo left Raleigh at the end of April. He was home for about three weeks. I absolutely enjoyed having him around again and being with him almost every minute possible. I'm SO ready for us to begin our lives together.
Leo left for Nashville Monday a week ago. I miss him terribly. Things are going fairly well, just not as quickly as we hoped. Everything will work out in due time, though.
I was sick all weekend with, what I found out today, a sinus/ear infection. It is not typical for me to get so sick. I worked an hour today just to make sure everything was in order before scheduling an appt. with the doctor.
My co-worker put in her two week notice today. This basically means I will be handling our entire caseload and I may get to train her replacement if they decide to hire for her position. I'm excited/nervous. I'm sure I can handle it, though.
I'm heading out to Nashville Thursday afternoon. I'm planning on leaving here around 3pm so that I'll get there around 8pm their time, just before dark. I'm very excited to see Leo and see the city. I've never been to Nashville before, and I'm going to be driving out there by myself on Thursday. I'm anxious to see how I handle such a long distance drive to somewhere I've not been before. :-D
Well, my meds are starting to kick in so I'm gonna relax. Hope everyone is well. Call the cell anytime you wanna chat. I'd love the company.
