Well my husband left yesterday to spend three months running a summer Boy Scout camp. It is about two hours away from here so he will be coming home every Wednesday (a new requirement by his boss because he still needs to do things for his district during the summer too) and probably a couple of Saturdays a month. Thats great that you found someone to feed the kitties for you.
When I lived in my apartment (alone) I use to get the manager of the complex to feed my cats if i was gone for an extended period of time and couldn't bring them with me. She was a friend of mine so that worked out nice.
its been storming here too and there is a tropical depression out in the gulf, Arlene!

Yeah I keep watching the weather channel to see what is going on with it. You could swear I still live in Louisiana! I think I am subconsciously watching because every time a hurricane hits in the gulf the remains make there way up here. And maybe I miss hurricane parties :) but not hurricanes!
