The wife of a cousin of mine often forwards me interesting, funny or inspiring stories, pictures and in some cases PPS files. The story below was sent yesterday and moved me so much that I wanted to share it with you. Hope you like it as much as I do.

The Frog Allegory

Once upon a time, a frog race was organised. The aim was to reach the top of a big tower. Many people gathered to attend the race and to support the frogs. The race began. In fact, the people who gathered were far from believing that it would be possible to get to the top and kept on saying:

"That's too difficult. They'll never do it".

The frogs were giving up apart from one frog, which kept on climbing. The people went on saying:

"That's too difficult. They'll never do it".

The frogs acknowledged defeat, apart from the same frog, which kept on trying hard. In the end, they all gave up apart from the same frog, which, after a great deal of effort, could reach the top. The other ones were eager to know how she succeeded. One of them came closer to this frog and asked her how she managed to outdo them and found out that she ....... was deaf!

Do not listen to people who have the bad habit of being negative... because they steal the greatest hopes from your heart! Remember forever, how powerful the words are when you listen or read them. So please, always be POSITIVE!

In brief:

Go deaf when you are told that your dream cannot come true.

A word from me: There are so many people who will try to discourage you from following your dreams. They may have different motives. Some may be jealous while others may be over-protective of you. This usually refers to close family and friends. But there is one thing I know. If there is something you really want to do, and you are confident that you can do it, then don't ever give up. Just believe in yourself. Believe that you have all it takes to get what you want, and noone or nothing can stand in your way then.
