NEWS FOR YOU!!! Christmas Eve
AS OF 12-24-05 KARL & I ARE ENGAGED!!!!!
Okay this is how Christmas Eve played out...
I was up at 2:15am and ready for Karl to take me to Walmart. Well he didn't get up until 3:30am and then we were at Walmart by 4am. He dropped me off and then I went and saw my mother. She was busy!!! Anyways I went shopping for Karl and then finally around 8am I came home. I had to wait for my mother to get off work. When we got home I said "Do I get to open one Christmas present early?" he said I could, but not yet. He wanted my mother to leave first. lol. So mom went and helped me wrap Karl's gifts and she hung out with us until around 9 or 10am. After she left he said "I get to pick out which one you open so sit down." I sit down and he brought me a small silvery box with a green bow on top. I opened the tape and then he toke it from me. He then got on one knee, pulled out the box, looked at it and then asked me "Will the mother of my child be my wife?" I was shocked, happy, overly excited, blushing! everything you could imagine and I said yes. He then put the ring on my finger. He then came up to my level, gave me a kiss, and then hugged me. I was so happy!!! I didn't know what to say!! I never expected it!!! I also gave him the anniversary ring that I got him. He liked it a lot. Then we sat down and talked about gifts and stuff and he told me the story behind the ring he gave me. Like he ordered it a bit too small and had to have it sized and the guy's car broke down and how the guy sent a lady who worked there the get it sized and stayed there until it was done and then drive all the way back up there.
Later that night we went to my grandparents' house for Christmas dinner. My mother was first to notice the ring! lol. Then my sister and then my grammy and everyone else besides my father and grandfather. When my cousin Andy and his girlfriend showed up come to find out they got engaged too. Well she was showing off her ring and my grammy pops off "Have you seen Miranda's ring?" and my grandfather looked at me and was like "Miranda has one too?" lol. I wanted to tell my father myself. So I told him and he had nothing to say, but I know he's happy for me because I'm doing what makes me happy and no one else.
So my Christmas Eve was nice.... :) I'll give you another update about Christmas.
