I love the rain. And therefore I am happy.
So, let me take this opportunity to tell you what I have been up to recently.
I've been depressed. Big surprise (why aren't the pills working yet?!). But before this bout of depression I was home and actually having a good time! Saw my new baby cousin, went to my sister's music night, and saw old music teachers, old music room, and old music geek friends. Yeah, it was just good times all around! I was amazed! Also, found a copy of Craig Thompson's
Blankets, which I fell in love with a year ago at Alicia's for an amazing price at our local flea market. Yay!
Then I came home. Seriously, practically the moment I stepped onto the train the depression kicked in. Also, reading Blankets and listening to Damien Rice while you are already starting to feel a little down is NOT a good idea. I could feel my heart turn bluer by the seconds.
So, I've been alone all week, not answering the phone and avoiding things like email and facebook as I was in that mood. Pretty much spent my time reading The Half Blood Prince (the worst of the series - honestly, I'm over half-way done and NOTHING has happened! Oh, there is Malfoy being suspicious, and Dumbledore's mysterious hand, but it's pretty much all exposition about Voldemort's past. The next book better not be as boring as this one), and watching Dark Angel and Dead Like Me online. I saw Dark Angel once or twice in high school, as my step-sister taped a few episodes at her mom's place and watched them at our place, and introduced me to the hottness that is Logan. Dead Like Me, knew nothing about it, except that I see it all the time at Roger's and the SG-1 episode "Threads" was partially taped at the
Waffle Place - that made me laugh. So, I thought I'd give both of them a try, and now dream about Dead Like Me - just started season 2. I guess this summer really is the summer to catch up on television. I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
