A very early morning was called for on Saturday, for
_mysteria_ and I! we were booked on the 6.15 am coach to london, hoping that we would be in time to get tickets to see Elijah, Nathan and a few possible others. As it was we didn't get to Earls Court til gone 9 and by the time we actually got inside Elijah's tickets were in the 800's and Nathan's in the 400's! New plan of action needed! Aha, I know, we can leave here as planned to get to the parade and then come back for 4.30 to try and get the boys! Deal! So we had very little to do until 12.10 when Richard Briers talk was on, and just wandered the stalls, ooohing and aaahing at all the things we couldn't afford!
We met up with Sam and Charlie and friends again and chilled out for a bit outside chatting, before heading back in doors to take a sneaky peak at Corey Haim! Oh my but that boy is lush :)
And then it was time for my main man Richard Briers! He was wonderful, talked about The Good Life, Ever Decreasing Circles and Rhubarb and Custard, before doing his Rhubarb voice! Loved loved loved it! Highlight of LFACC for me :)
And then off to the parade it was, but first a quick change into the appropriate clothes. I'd made myself a spank me tshirt especially for Pride! Once there, we navigated the crowds and melted from the heat!
I got told "I will, I will" and "oooh me too" in response to my tshirt, by a couple of ladies in the parade, which was fun :)
Once we reached Trafalgar it was time to head back to LFACC to see if we could get our men, of course by that time a few Guinnesses had been drunk, so I kept my spank me tshirt on, with some cool results;)
First off Elijah. I was getting his autograph for
a charity auction Jules and I are attending next week, and so even though it said no posed pics, I made sure I got him to pose for me!
Then Nathan Fillian, for Jo, second pic is motion capture of her shaking his hand, hence the blurriness ;)
I also managed to go and have a quick chat and shake the hand of Don S Davis who commented that he thought it was cheeky to wear a spank me tshirt to a signing ;)
And then we sneaked into the back of Jorge's talk, which although difficult to hear, sounded entertaining when we could!
And finally! You should not go to a convention dressed as a maid when I've had a few beers ;)

We managed to see some of the acts including Ian Shore and Blue Man Group (who were amazing!)
And finally we all dispersed to Soho for a few beers in The Village (a gay pub there) which was packed :)
