(no subject)
Today was my first day of work experiance.
I am working with 4-5 year olds in the reception class at my old primary school.
To begin with my godmother bought her grand daugter in who didn't want to leave her, so she introduced me to her grand daughter; Mia, who, like many of the other girls wanted to hold my hand all day. There's one girl called Keira and she made me a "spaceship" out of paper, then another one of the children painted me a rainbow which was so cute. They have snack time everyday where they eat fruit, and one of the children has blood sugar levels that need to be kept high or something so he has to eat whatever fruit he is given, but he didn't like peach and started crying! I had no idea what to do but luckily the teacher I'm working with; Miss.Dennis, sorted it out.
For the children in reception it'snot really school, it's more like recess the whole time, which is great as it's easier to help just a few children out with the counting and writing part.
At lunch I met up with Sarah H *She's doing work experiance at the school too but in year 1* and we went up the high street for lunch at the café which was a total rip off, it cost us £6 for a drink and a sandwich. Also they gave me out of date iced tea!
Ryan's *One of the guys from school* little sister Chloé is in my class. She's so cute. Also my neighbours grand daughter is in the class, so it's easy to know people. I haven't learnt all their names yet but hopefully I will know them all soon.
At the end of the day the children had to take a letter home and one of the boys in the class was struggling to carry his lunchbox and everything so I asked if he wanted me to put his school letter in his book bag, he said "Yes please." Then as I was putting it away for him he goes "I love you." And I was just like "Oh my gosh thats so cute!" Also the Nicola gave me a kiss on the head heehee. THEY LOVE ME!
Tomorrow I have to take in fruit for "Snack time" and I need a coat so I can do outside duty.
I should go now as I have to txt James back.
