ok so here is an update on life so far...
FRIDAY:
on friday i was freakin out bout givin blood cause i didnt know if i would, and i didnt want to have to do track so i was hoping id get to do it..5th period rolls around and its pe...i still havent gotten a notice...so i talk to kerwin, and he wants me to still run..i run the whole way (first time yay!) and i pred by like 3 minutes or something...then i go to tell kerwin my time and he goes "o ya, this came for you while you were running" its a pass to go give blood...so i change, hang in the locker room w/manda, mal, and shea till its my doom and on i go...in the line i wait for a while, then i get called in..they interview me adn i get put on a cot thingey..the veins in my right arm were more prominent so i was flipped sides and they stuck the needle in..funny thing is it hurt REALLY BAD..tears started fallin down my face..and i hear the guy go "OOops..almost got it....wait..are you okay? i almost got it here..nope i missed it" this went on for bout 3 minutes and it hurt really bad..so im cryin cause its painful..then hes like..."i missed the vein..i cant do it again on this arm cause its bruised now, but if you want i can try on your left arm..or you can jsut go" well this is me, and i wasnt leavin w/out givin so i flipped around and they prepped my right arm..i switched people bec he couldnt find my vein..well then we got it and its all good..took bout 15 minutes to drip out...and the time i was hummin funky town to myself :D it was funn...then i was done, 2 people tried to take the needle out...the guy who did made it leak out..then i sat up and some nurse ran up to me and she goes "WHAT ARE YOU DOING>? SHOULD YOU BE SITTIN UP? ARE YOU FELLING SICK, NAUSIOUS, LIGHTHEADED?" i was just kinda weirded out by her so i walked over to the "canteen" and ate food..by then it was 2:20 so i rushed over to the locker room so i could put on some warm clothes and go to track..i listened to bj go on bout the meet..then he read an awesome email from scott bout the girls and he mentioned the throwers alot so that made my day..plus watchin throwers+long distance runners play ultimate frisby..went home and couldnt move my right arm which was already formin a fatty bruise
SATURDAY:
hung out at the mall and saw the interpretor...GOOD MOVIE...with kt and felicia...went home w/kate and then spent the night..i bought a queen shirt yay! and a labyrinth movie poster and the new guy movie...my right arm had a supper gross bruise
SUNDAY:
woke up at kates...went home and helped my dad w/some junk..then went w/dan after band practice to value village for shirts...helped him paint em for the way hes askin her to prom..ate then slept
MONDAY:
today i came to school w/a fatty gross bruise on my right arm that is way tender and hurts...and a large bruise on my left arm from where they didnt miss and they actaully drew the blood...apparently i bruise easily..i feel like a junkie..got nicknamed hero..short for heroine...that was awesome...showed some teachers my battle wounds...went to track and did a super hard workout..got lectured by coach drew saying that apparently the girls arent focusing..even tho we hella stepped up for northshore..but apparently that doesnt count cuase we arent focusting...wtf...i stuck w/carolyn for the most part and we did push ups and sit ups together...so funny i was gruntin and makin her laugh..it was some good times :D
