My Review: A friend of mine got this tea as a sample and wasn't to keen on it...I, on the other hand, love it. With a pinch of honey added, a sip of this herbal blend has a powerful refreshing taste. The salvia and lavender is most prominent, but there is also a slight bittersweet after taste from the berries and hibiscus. I add honey because while the sunflower does balance out the berries, it needs a bit more so the initial tastes are not too over powering.
I enjoy this tea a two specific times during the day. First, when I finally get out of that last class at 4pm, this tea is a great pick me up with its complex taste - wonderful especially after a boring lecture. Second, Lavender Sunset is also a great bedtime tea. chamomile is usually prescribed as a sleepy tea, but strait up I find it bland sometimes. This tea is great because a) it has no caffeine and b) the floral undertones, especially lavender with all its relaxing qualities, serve as a tasty substitute for chamomile.
