After soooo long...
So glad that I dun have school tmrw and can wake up late.
Tmrw is convo and even though I am not really looking forward to it, it's a good break from school and all that nonsense.
Have resumed teaching for a month or so and I am beat.
The early mornings, having to wake up at 5plus to prepare to go to school.
Clocking in 12 hrs almost every day. Bringing stuff back to work at night.
But things are better now as I am prioritising.
No work on Fri till Sun.
School's really draining.
I really have gotta drag myself to school sometimes..literally and figuratively.
But the worst part abt school ain't the kids and the marking load. It's the endless meetings, workshops and school/ministry events that are sooooo zapping me dry.
What's worse is that these meetings and all are totally redundant. Only to look good on paper and to satisfy the status quo.Bull lah.
Sighz....
But at the end of the day, the kids are really the ones that make what I do worthwhile n satisfying.
Nevertheless, having said that, my decision hasn't changed. Not then and not now.
Once 5 yrs is up...most likely I am gg to go.
The system sucks big time man.
I am saying it here and I dun care if u r looking in from ministry....
The system is screwed up BIG TIME!!
There....I've gotten it out of my system.
Time to have my proper sleep which I haven't had for the last 1 mth.
