STANLEY, N.C. -- Two 19-year-olds are facing child abuse charges after police discovered a video that shows their 11-month-old son blindfolded, running into walls.

Delmer Frank James Doss and Amber Lynn Burgess were released from jail on bond Wednesday.

Stanley police say the video shows the couple blindfolding their son and watching him run into walls and fall face forward several times.

Burgess told NewsChannel 36 on Thursday that the video looks worse than it was. She said her son was not injured and the family was just having fun.

The 11-month-old remains in Burgess' custody.

Burgess and Doss are scheduled to appear in court on March 29.
