Specifically this post is for
devoidofthought, but I'm making it public so anyone else that feels like looking can.
Purely for the purpose of comparison, this is the main diesel tank to the truck, and the reason it costs $100 to fill up.
This is the opening of the auxiliary tank for the WVO. It's located in front of the rear passenger wheel.
For size comparison... auxiliary tank from underneath the truck.
This is the diagram of the conversion under the hood.
This is the switch on the driver's side door that we use to change fuel sources.
Under the hood stuff... the main focus of this pic is the fuel filter with all of the hoses connected. (photo from standing above it)
This is the same equipment, photographed from the front of the truck.
This is just a pic of everything under the hood, aside from a little bit to the right that was cut out ;)
A pic of the dash... everything is factory except for 2 things. The bottom left gauge (the white one) is the temperature sensor for the WVO. The gauge mounted on top of the left side of the dash is the WVO fuel gauge.
These are the containers we have the filtered WVO in.
This is our secondary filtering system. What we do is put the wvo through the leg of a pair of jeans (that's been sewed together at the bottom). This filters out the big stuff. Then we put the vegoil through the filters in the following picture. The pores are much finer and get the smaller stuff out just fine. I put them up on 2 limbs of the tree so I could get a better picture ;)
Top view of the filtering system.
This is the best picture I can get of the pump at the moment because it is packed up and I didn't want to get all greasy lol. It's a hand pump so you can control the flow of the oil.
