(no subject)
Well, it's official. My student loan final payment has been sent. After one year, I have paid off $14,000.00. That is absolutely crazy. Seeing that number just now... it makes me so proud of myself for deciding to do this now, while I had the opportunity.
It is time to celebrate. Today I'm heading down to Toronto to buy a coat for winter. I want a long one that automatically makes me look cute when I wear it. One that, I could be wearing the crappiest clothes underneath, but when I wear my jacket, I feel like a bundle of cuteness. Do they even make those? And then tonight, it's drinks for Dennis... because it's her special day ;)
Kevin is coming home in a matter of days now. Four more to go. Kind of like five, but I'm going to say four. And I am filled with happiness.
This is a good week ahead of me. I have a lot to be happy about. And the weight has finally been lifted that I've been carrying around all week with me. Thanks to my mom. We had a good talk yesterday when I came home from work. Then my dad and I talked for a while about framing a house. I like talking to him about that kind of stuff. He's so smart. And last night, I watched my mom and dad and David play pool and we ordered pizza and wings at 9pm. Just because. And David was making me laugh. And I felt so happy. Like, the kind of happy where you're beaming. And I fell asleep at like 10:30 so I got a good sleep.
I dunno. Yesterday turned out to be really good. I love my parents. I am so proud of them. I am so happy for them. I am so glad that I have these role models in my life. They are such good people. My whole family is good people. And Christa and Shane come home at the end of the week too.
