Captain's log - Skye Whirlind intro
Skye is a bit of a demon. No, seriously. From another dimension, complete with sharp canines, horns, and some startling eyes, Skye is the founder of the Piscis Volans. It was left abandoned in some wayward dimensions (at least it kinda looked abandoned, really) and since then she has been hopping from plane to plane seeking friends / technology for her vessel. She didn't find much in the way of friends until she started seeking these weird worlds, filled with 'steampunks'. She's since settled into the area, and fell in love with the gypsies and their bohemian ways. Its like they had created a niche definition for what she was already! These new aesthetics became her, rather well, and she duly incorporated them.
Through additional observations, she came to the conclusion that she would start a circus. Apparently hooping isn't the essential social skill in this world as it was back on beatleguise 7. Her first attempts at social foray led to people watching, and clapping, and generally getting on well. Which was all good, but she was curious that no one else had their own hoops at these fantastic conventions. She shrugged it off as another cultural weirdness, but after a few dollars had been thrown down her way.. well. Skye, if anything, is an opportunist. Happily, her new found crewmates seem to be quite on board with the idea. And thus, our story begins.
