Hello world!
Ahhh so refreshing, so satisfying to be back in school ;D i'm totally pumped for my classes this semester. The teachers seem very nice and VERY into their subjects, and with the smaller class sizes i hope i can interact with them close enough who knows! more references?
and whats kinda cool is instead of Get a huge lecture hall, then a TA for lab (so you never really know your teachers) i get small class rooms, AND they're the ones who teach the labs! its wicked sweet.
In Orgo Chem i'm doing this project called Greening Reactions. We're going to work with selected HS chem teachers to make a select experiment or whatever they want, more environmentally friendly. I kinda like this one more so than sleepers page "beedizzizle".
The real exciting part about Microbio is her CONSTANT reference to the fact that microbiology is a HUGE field right now, and with JUST this introductory course and some talent in the lab procedure, i could easily land a job at $20/hr. A little more than double what i make now! SO excited to see if i can get on her good side and have her reference me to someplace or just tell me an area i'd be good for. hehe working for stonyfeild farms XD
Humanities is wicked interesting too. I liked japanese right? i liked the structure of the course and the history up to today. Well this course is pretty much that, but western. and we're not going to get into current cultures, just the renn and early greek periods. :) yea its gunna kick my ass in terms of HW, but i'll manage.
i haven't had Psychology yet. and i've never had it before. i have no idea what i'm in for.
work is better. I'm SO effing glad to be outta the hell hole that is amherst. But hopefully scott calls up soon or panera saying "HEY! 12/hr? yea?" cause tha'd be so much easier to get the money i need AND the hours i'd like. considering the blunder i pulled >.>
cause of the holiday i charged an extra payment to my card, basically i owe 1100 on a 20% apr card. F that. So i'm gunna settle that as quickly as possible. but eeeew
