Section 377A

Apparently, I miss something with the local news in Singapore. And apparently, the debate to repeal Section 377A in Singapore has not ended yet, which is a great thing to know. What I don't like was some people who are still against the idea to repeal this archaic law because of religion and whatever beliefs they have.

Look, to me, the solution is simple - what one does in one's bedroom is one's own personal business. If one wants to have an orgy, gay, straight or whatever, it's one's own private business. Who one loves is also one's own personal business. Not me, not the law, not the government, not the society, not my parents or yours or everybody else's, not my cousins or yours or everybody else's, not the butterflies, the puppies and the rest of the animal kingdom.

Some people need to stop complicating things. This is not the "first step to legalize same-sex marriage" or the "homosexuality agenda". There is no agenda. This is just human rights. If I, a straight woman, can fuck anybody I want, so do my LGBT friends.

Anyway, what is wrong with same-sex marriage? If two men or women want to marry, well, good for them. It's not your business. You are not the one marrying someone of the same sex. So why do you want to have a say in somebody else's life? It's the same argument that I have about a bunch of men who want to decide what a woman does with her own body.

This is 2013! Get a move on already!
